Australian 2008 F1 GP / Client - Australian Unity

With a tight dead-line we managed to build this raceway and air freight to our clients facilities "Australian Unity" for their F1 corporate party. Located on Albert Road, perched 15 floors up overlooking the Albert Park formula one circuit, the guests raced slot cars as well as well as watching the actual race. Lap record set on this 4 lane 40 metre long raceway was 3.175 seconds. We opted to supply Aussie V8's for racing as they are more robust than the F1's. John Bowe (ex Australian touring car driver) made a special guest appearance, and spoke at length about his succesful race days, as well as fielding questions about todays V8 Super Car category. A magnificent hands on amusement to compliment to the real racing festival, once again Mega Trax proves to be the amusement which adults enjoy the most.

IBM / Westpac at Sydney Exhibiiton Centre:

We travelled overnight to service this MOJO-EVENTS production. Held in BOND-007 theme, the raceway was specially remodelled to include EURO style houses, appartment block, CASINO de EUROPE and exotic race cars including Bonds Aston Martin. MOET CHANDON and TROPHY prize were awarded, as well as a Carrera Le Mans track pack prize. 4000 guests attended from Westpac, Microsoft, BigPond and IBM. Hundreds lined up in bollards, many fast laps were achieved. Two 500 WATT SPEAKERS pumped out the running race commentary by Mega Trax, and 100's of people lined up to race to get their names on the finalists scoreboard. Races were 10 laps and 45 seconds in duration, so turn around time was fast and exciting. The BOND girls were fantastic at putting the cars back on the track, and thanks to crash testing pre-event, they got it right every time. "What An Evening" !

nabCapital CUSCAL Conference / Brisbane Convention Centre:

This has worked well for nabCapital in Sydney and Brisbane. On both occasions we built a city themed raceway which is supervised in operation by us, and put up as a prize for the fastest racer to win. As you can imagine, this worked very well in attracting racers to the trade show stand.

BATHURST WEEKEND:

This year our contribution to Mount Panorama was "to build it". It took 6 weeks to build, then it was trucked to Sydney and placed on an in-house custom built trailer for use for National PR and Corporate events. Well done NRMA Motoring & Services for seeing the benefits of this sort of powerful marketing collateral.

Jack Daniels Promotion - INDY300:

Brisbanes most "happening" Hotel (The Chalk Hotel) linked force with Jack Daniels and Mega Trax on INDY300 day. The promotion was simple; lap the raceway in under 3 seconds and win a FREE Jack Daniels! Naturally, 100's participated and many won a free drink. Two Carrera HOTRODS were done up in Jack Daniels livery for racing.

ss F1 Team BAR - Official Gala Dinner - AUF1GP04:

Run to the gun, real slot-car in-car race cam, 2 big screens, supervised, coordinated, announced races, full on high energy competitive interactive fun. 350 VIP Black Tie guests attended including Coca-Cola Mustang driver Alan Moffat, Formula One stars Jensen Butto, Anthony Davies and Sato. Four BAR F1 slot cars were built as well as Alan Moffats GTHO-PHASE3 Ford Falcon which was scratch built by us for Alan Moffat to race on the raceway. Cult band Mondo Rock played live as guests raced slot-cars to the music, and racing was beamed up onto two big screens creating an electrifying hands on experience.

V8 Super Cars:

Westrac Caterpillar Sponsor CAT Racing V8 Super Cars - Turners Vineyard Bathurst 2006. 400 VIP guests - 2 big screens - staged competition - raceway was in constant use for the duration of the event. No glitches, cars were roated at "correct times", timing system picked the accurate and correct winner and table, and the trophy was awarded on stage infront of all patrons at the event.

Trade Show - Banking / Finance Case Study:

1 - nabCapitol (Hilton Hotel Sydney):
Custom built city themed raceway highly detailed to include a model SKY SCRAPER for nabCapitol Trade Show stand at the 2006 Securitization conference. In their words, "it was a hit". The desired result was to atrract passing trade customers to stop and participate in a "fastest lap" race, (which they did), and the raceway was put up as the "prize" for the fastest racer.

2 - Stargate Technologies (Perth WA):
Stargate technologies knew that the best way to attract racers to their stand was with slot cars in cafe style environment with an on-line E-mail service for trade show visitors - it worked ! It was like working from home with hands on amusements to keep passing retail trade both in and around thier stand for 4 days.

HEATCRAFT Australia - Tropical Far North QLD:

They couldn't get enough of it, simply superb, rebooked for NSW as well as QLD branches. The roadshow stretched from Cairns back down through Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton and then back to base Brisbane. HEATCRAFT were so impressed with our service, that they went onto book us for NSW locations Coffs harbour and Newcastle.
